Robin Monheit is a Senior Account Manager at CrowdTangle, where she handles account development and enterprise client relationships.
Prior to CrowdTangle, she was a senior social media strategist at Hearst Magazines, where she worked on brand strategy, content optimization, partner opportunities and product development across all Hearst titles. Previously at Hearst, Robin project managed network-wide native ad campaigns and handled cross-network content strategy as Editor in the Network Programming division. Prior to joining HDM, Robin wrote, edited and produced lifestyle content as Web Editor for O, the Oprah Magazine. She began her career as an entertainment editor at Twist magazine.
In 2011, Robin received a certificate from CUNY's Entrepreneurial Journalism program, which included coursework in business, product development, marketing and technology, and culminated in a 5-minute pitch to venture capitalists. Post-program, she organized Hearst's first-ever 24-hour hackathon — a partnership with AngelHack — held in February 2013 at the Hearst Tower in New York City.
Robin received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, in December 2003, with cum laude honors. During her time at Maryland, she worked as a reporter and Arts Editor for The Diamondback, College Park's only newspaper.
